Position Purpose: Responsible for providing strategic direction to the discipline, cross-discipline marketing and business development, and developing a strong team of engineers and technologists to support the ongoing growth of the organization.
This role serves as an integral link between the Regional Director and the Engineering Director by providing both inter-disciplinary coordination and discipline leadership at the regional level.

Regional Accountabilities - Client Relationships and Operational Management
Overseeing the design process provide effective options and solutions to design problems, mitigating WEC’s exposure and protecting client relationships.
Lead the preparation of proposals for major projects.
In conjunction with the Branch Administrator and other Engineering Managers, develop standards and procedures for, quality, efficiency, safety, cost reduction, client service and ensure they are followed by your discipline.
Support the development of lasting relationships with clients.
Working with the Engineering Director and Team Leads, forecast workload for staffing targets and determine ideal staff mix.
Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
Manage cost and time components of the discipline to ensure profitability.
Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
Actively contribute to a culture of peer review.
Participate in the recruitment and termination of staff.
Provides leadership to the development and maintenance of IQMS and CAD standards.
Manage, motivate, train, mentor, and discipline direct reports according to company policies and guidelines.
Coordinates with the Project Managers to ensure that project budgets and schedules are achieved.
Employees are required to adhere to the company and client safety policies and practices in effect at any given time.
Develop direct reports’ Career Paths and provide performance appraisals, with input from the Regional Director and Engineering Director.
